How good is your diet?

Be honest, come on... It could be a bit better, right?
But at the same time, you probably don't place as much importance on it as you place on other things – such as on training Jiu-Jitsu. On drilling and rolling.

Look, I understand. You want to train and think about nothing else, especially if you don't have a lot of time and energy to focus on something like nutrition.
But here's the thing... To reach your full potential in BJJ and to keep training it for a long time, you need to take care of your diet.

Because if you don't put fuel your body properly – how can you expect it to keep performing on a high level?
Sooner or later, it's going to crash. You'll burn out, your progress will stagnate, your immune system will weaken, and you'll get injured...

But it doesn't have to be this way.

My name is Kieren Lefevre.

I'm a certified strength and conditioning coach, as well as an ISSN-Sports Nutrition Specialist.
I've been training BJJ for some time now (blue belt, I'm working hard towards that purple) and I've also had a lot of clients who are BJJ athletes – both hobbyists and competitors alike.

And let me tell you... Every single one of them, as soon as they've cleaned up their diet and started taking nutrition seriously, saw their performance on the mats skyrocket.

Why? Because by understanding nutrition theory, nutrition plans, what to eat, when to eat, supplements, hydration protocols, as well as by following a sound nutrition plan... Your body will have the right fuel, the right nutrients required for putting in maximum sustainable effort on the mats.

In other words, with proper nutrition, you'll be able to train BJJ as often and as intense as possible while, at the same time, recovering well and staying injury-free.

Not to mention that an (un)healthy diet will make a world of difference for your health – both today and in the years to come.

But isn't nutrition complicated?

But yes, I hear you... Isn't learning about nutrition and proper dieting complicated? Why not just start eating a bit more vegetables and buy less chocolates?

Well, yes, you could definitely do that. And it sure beats doing nothing. However, if you are serious about your BJJ performance, progress, and longevity – then it's time to take the leap.
It's time to learn and apply the nutrition protocols that will make an insane difference in how you feel and perform on the mats.

Plus, you don't have to worry about nutrition being complicated. That's why I've studied it all these years (trust me, sometimes it was really difficult) – so that I can simplify it for you.

This course has absolutely everything you need to know about nutrition for BJJ.
Let's take a look at what it contains.

BJJ Nutrition course

Get your diet in check – and skyrocket your BJJ performance.

The BJJ Nutrition course covers everything you need to know about BJJ-specific nutrition.
It's a part of a bigger, "BJJ Performance & Longevity" course - in which I've partnered with Jordan Preisinger to deliver you everything you need to keep training Jiu-Jitsu for a lifetime.

You will learn which nutrients and foods are best to eat, in which combinations, and when to eat them – as well as the optimal hydration and suplementation protocols.
You'll also become extremely knowledgeable on nutrition theory, how to put all of the newfound knowledge together, and how to write nutrition plans.

But, at the same time, you will also receive pre-made nutrition plans (downloadable content) – so you're all set!

Check the "What's inside the course" section below for detailed information about the course content.

Who is the BJJ Nutrition course for?

  • BJJ hobbyists

Do you train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a hobby? You absolutely love to drill and roll – and you'd like to reach your full potential in the Gentle Art one day.
If that's the case, the BJJ Nutrition course will help you reach that potential... And also live a healthier lifestyle, through taking care of your diet.

  • Professional BJJ athletes

So you're a professional athlete? Then you know just how important proper diet is for Jiu-Jitsu.
It's time to turn that awareness into practice. The BJJ Nutrition course will give you all the necessary knowledge and tools that are required to evolve your nutrition to perfection.

  • Anyone who grapples

Look, bottom line is – if you train BJJ/grappling and if you want to keep grappling for a long time, then you need to take care of your nutrition.
Sure, training is extremely important... But what you eat will equally (if not more) make or break your health and success on the mats in the years to come. So take it seriously. And learn how to redefine and refine your diet.
